Hey jintan, so I cleaned the fans with a air compressor I had. But I have this problem now, my grandmother used my computer while I was at work and when I came back the computer was on but the screen just greyish. So I turned it of and on again and got the message "Bas check sum(Rom) check system then press F1" I just went on to press f1 and was taken to the bios. There the info appeared both white and purple. I checked while I was there for the fan speed and it said maximum performance. After about 5 min the computer just turned off on me.

"Bad checksum" is likely something to concentrate on. At bootup, press the key that shows as the access to "Setup", so you can check the BIOS. There are many different varieties, but what you will be looking for is the BIOS version. May have an update that might help things.

Let's see if this link will work. 3.80 is well beyond what you have there, and likely brought some positive changes with it.

No - the link just goes to the download page. You should see that BIOS upgrade there, second down on the list. It apparently also includes the procedures to install it, once you unzip the download.

From the documentation that comes with that BIOS update:
BIOS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------------
There are five options for installing this BIOS release:
1) From the bootable BIOS installation diskette. This is the recommeded procedure whenever a diskette drive (internal, USB, or PCMCIA) is available on the target system.
2) From within Windows NT-based operating systems (XP, 2000, NT 4.0) using the Windows-based BIOS installer.
3) At startup by holding down the key immediately to the left of the spacebar.
4) From the bootable BIOS installation CD-ROM
5) Run chgbiosa.exe at the command prompt.
I am assuming you do not have a floppy drive, or an external, USB floppy drive to use. If so, you would need to create that CD in Step 4.
Download that qg35v380.exe BIOS update file to a working computer, then click it, and allow it to extract itself to the C drive (like it will suggest).
It will also open an html file, showing the steps needed, and create a "T" BIOS Launcher shortcut on the desktop. It's okay if the computer isn't a Toshiba - I am doing a trial of this on a Dell right now.
Click that BIOS Launcher, and click the CD-ROM Installation option, then click OK. Have a CD available, and follow any prompts to create a boot CD.
Then locate and click on C:\qg35v380\index.html. That will open your browser to the instructions needed to complete the BIOS update, using your new boot CD.

I'm got the computer working but only after pressing safe mode with networking. but even now the screen is all wacky. With these color lines appeaing on the screen. So I'm going to download that Bios upgrade directly to the computer. Then just install it right?

so I was able to download and extract the files on to the infected computer but would I still have to create a CD now? or just open up chgbiosa.exe?

Best I might offer is what I already posted. Those steps should walk you through the BIOS update, but yes, you need to create a boot CD if you do not have a clean enough shot while the system is running. If you do have good enough use of the desktop, you may instead want to try the other option: From within Windows NT-based operating systems (XP, 2000, NT 4.0) using the Windows-based BIOS installer.

okay so from the files extracted there is this T, which is the Toshiba Flash Bios.I Highlighted the "Install from Windows" with this option, the new BIOS is Installed from within windows. NO diskette necessary. I clicked ok, and "Exctracting" appears then the message Toshiba BIOS package Ver.3.2.8 "This Computer is Not Supported"

I went ahead and tried the CD way and it seemed to finish but at the end it said to press the RESET sw button or turn off/on ac power. I did not know which was the sw button so I turned of the ac power brick on and off but nothing happened so I went ahead and tapped the power on button and the computer turned off. So before I do anything else I wanted to confirm with you.

To the best of my knowledge, and if you did the steps as prescribed by that flash info, the BIOS update should have worked. If it didn't, either way go ahead and power up. Worst scenario, we need to do it one of the other ways, or review the procedures you just did.
