Default How to know that system is affected by virus

Recently for past six months only I am using internet with my own computer. I heard of virus but in my system I have anti virus software. However I want to know how to find whether the system is affected by virus. Is there any symptoms that happened in the system that shows about the virus infection.

Welcome to MalwareCrypt nigelle,

A list of symptoms of infection would be very long, as these could be anything or any problem. Most often the current malwares bring popup ads, change your searches to the wrong web pages or cause changes that show on the computer as things missing, or not working. Especially security software. Do you think your computer is infected?
